HP has updated the Mini 210 netbook line. The new models will come equipped with Intel Atom Cedar Trail and will be available in classic colors, and also crimson red, ocean drive, luminous rose and sweet purple for $19 extra.
Despite rumors about the disappearance of netbooks, HP does not give up their production and even do a refresh to the Mini 210 series. The new models will be based on Intel Cedar Trail line, so they will be more powerful and have a better autonomy.
HP Mini 210 series will have a 10.1-inch WSVGA screen, LED backlit, 1024 x 600 pixels. This range of netbooks will be powered by the new Intel Atom processors, starting with the dual core model N2600 at 1.60GHz with 1MB/L2 and 800MHz FSB. The processor will be helped in running applications by 1 GB of DDR3 (1 DIMM) and a range of hard drives with capacities ranging from 320 GB to 500 GB at 5400 RPM.
HP Mini 210 will have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi only 802.11 b / g / n. Configuration is completed by the three USB ports, RJ-45 port, VGA port and card reader. The 6-cell battery can provide a range of up to 8 hours depending on usage. Preinstalled operating system is Windows 7 Starter. The price of a netbook HP Mini 210 starts at about $300.
