Samsung NP700Z7C is a new 17.3 inch laptop which is available in some online stores for pre-order. Last month Samsung NP700G7C-S01US was revealed. Now, the new laptop seems to enter into the equation, with a lower price, but a configuration not as good as the previous model.

Although Ivy Bridge processor launch was postponed until June, some laptops try to win the start, but the situation remains rather uncertain. The new Samsung NP700Z7C comes with quad core Intel Core i7-3615QM at 2.3 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD with 8GB Cache Express and Intel HD 3000 graphics card, according to some online store where it is presented. We find the video card odd as the new Ivy Bridge was supposed to come with Intel HD 4000; we would not be surprised if this detail will be changed later.
Also, the display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and the model comes equipped with WiFi, multi card slot, 1.3 MP webcam, 8-cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system pre-installed. The starting price is 1,499 dollars, $200 cheaper than the previous Samsung laptop. Hopefully it will not disappear from online stores and we will have more official information from Samsung.
